RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS
Rheumatoid arthritis is a proliferative and destructive inflammatory disease of the synovial joints.
Diagnosis is often based on criteria defined by the ACR (American College of Rheumatology) in 1987:
1. Morning stiffness lasting at least one hour
2. Involvement of at least three joints.
3. Artrhite affecting the hand
4.symmetrical arthritis
5.rheumatoid nodule
6.presence of rheumatoid factor
7.radiological sign
According to the ACR, at least four of these seven criteria are required to make a diagnosis.
